How Can U.S. Families Receive Their Ragdoll Kitten?
For U.S. families living within driving distance of Ontario, personal pickup in Barrie can be a simple and meaningful option. Some of our U.S. families have chosen to drive approximately four hours to meet us and personally bring their kitten home. Meeting in person gives you the opportunity to meet your breeder, receive your kitten and new-home package directly from us, and ask any last-minute questions before beginning your journey home.
For families located farther away, we can assist with arranging a flight nanny to personally accompany your kitten to the United States. Your kitten travels in the aircraft cabin with the flight nanny throughout the journey and is personally handed over to you at the agreed-upon airport. Flight nanny arrangements must be planned in advance and are subject to availability, with all associated travel costs paid by the buyer.
Bringing Your DreamiiDolls Kitten Home to the United States
DreamiiDolls kittens go home with veterinary records documenting their three kitten vaccinations and rabies vaccination, along with their individual microchip information. These records are provided to the new family and travel with the kitten on their journey home.
For families bringing their kitten from Canada into the United States, entry and travel requirements may vary depending on the destination state and method of travel. We recommend confirming the current requirements for your destination and, when flying, any additional requirements of your airline before travel.
We will provide the veterinary and identification records prepared for your kitten and help coordinate the handover and travel arrangements so you know what documentation will accompany your kitten on the journey home.
Feeding Your Kitten After Travel
Traveling from Canada to the United States may involve a long drive, air travel, airport waiting time, and an unfamiliar environment. These changes can sometimes cause temporary stress or anxiety, so we recommend keeping your kitten’s diet simple and familiar during the initial transition.
Detailed feeding guidance will be provided through the DreamiiDolls Family Hub, including recommendations for the first one to two weeks after arrival to help your kitten gradually settle into their normal feeding routine at home.
Pricing, Payment & Flight Nanny Arrangements for U.S. Families
DreamiiDolls kittens are priced in Canadian dollars, and our kitten pricing does not increase simply because a family is located in the United States. U.S. families pay the listed CAD price converted at the applicable exchange rate, with any payment processing or transaction fees being the responsibility of the buyer.
U.S. families may complete their payment through Wise or PayPal. For families using a flight nanny, the kitten’s remaining balance and all flight nanny costs must be paid at least 48 hours before departure. Flight nanny fees vary depending on airfare, travel dates, availability and other travel-related expenses, with the final cost confirmed once arrangements are made.
Once the flight nanny and travel date have been confirmed, the arrangement is generally considered final. If a change is requested afterward, any additional airfare, rebooking or other travel-related costs will be the responsibility of the buyer and must be paid before the kitten’s scheduled departure.
