Where is DreamiiDolls Ragdoll Cattery located?
DreamiiDolls Ragdoll Cattery is based in Ontario, Canada, with our home cattery located in the Barrie area.
We are a small, home-based ethical Ragdoll cattery where cats and kittens are raised in a clean, loving, family-centered environment—never in cages or separate buildings.
Do you serve families outside of Barrie / across Ontario?
Yes. Although DreamiiDolls Ragdoll Cattery is home-based in Ontario, our kittens join families all across the province, including Toronto, the GTA, Ottawa, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, and surrounding regions. We are always happy to help families from anywhere in Ontario welcome a DreamiiDolls kitten.
Do you offer Ragdoll kittens across Canada?
At this time, DreamiiDolls primarily places kittens within Ontario and nearby regions to ensure a smooth and low-stress transition for each kitten.
For out-of-province families, we prefer in-person pickup whenever possible. In certain situations, transportation may be discussed on a case-by-case basis, always prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of our kittens.
Why do families choose DreamiiDolls Ragdoll Cattery?
Many families choose DreamiiDolls because of our gentle, family-centered upbringing and temperament observations.
We raise kittens in a home environment rather than cages, with early socialization and meaningful human interaction.
We match kittens and families thoughtfully based on personality, lifestyle, and expectations.
For a deeper explanation, see: How We Make Breeding & Placement Decisions.
Are your Ragdoll kittens purebred and health-tested?
Yes. All DreamiiDolls kittens are purebred Ragdolls from registered lines and are raised under a structured health and veterinary care program.
Our breeding cats are selected based on pedigree verification, temperament consistency, and genetic health screening appropriate for the Ragdoll breed. Kittens receive routine veterinary exams, vaccinations, and early health monitoring before placement.
Health documentation and registration details are provided as part of our adoption process, allowing families to make informed, confident decisions. Our broader health and testing standards are outlined in our adoption reference materials.
Is DreamiiDolls Ragdoll Cattery suitable for families with children?
Yes. DreamiiDolls Ragdoll Cattery is often chosen by families with children due to our kittens’ gentle temperament, early socialization, and upbringing in a real family home environment.
Are you an ethical, cage-free Ragdoll breeder?
Yes. DreamiiDolls Ragdoll Cattery is a fully cage-free, home-based ethical breeder. Our cats live freely with us—lounging on couches and interacting with our family every day.
This environment helps our kittens develop the calm, affectionate temperament Ragdolls are known for.
Are your breeding cats TICA registered?
Yes. All of our breeding cats are registered with recognized cat associations, including TICA, CFA, and CCA-AFC.
All kittens placed as pets come with official registration through the appropriate association, ensuring documented lineage and responsible breeding standards.
Do your kittens come vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped?
Yes. Every kitten goes home with age-appropriate vaccinations, multiple rounds of deworming, a microchip, and a full veterinary health record.
How are your Ragdoll kittens socialized before going home?
Our kittens receive daily handling, early socialization, exposure to family life, gentle grooming, litter training, and positive human interaction from birth until adoption.
How are the kittens cared for from birth until they leave for their new homes?
From BirthKittens are fed their mother’s milk, supplemented by Royal Canin Feline Health Nutrition Babycat Milk Replacer. We weigh them daily to ensure consistent, healthy growth.

What’s the difference between pet quality and show quality kittens?
Show quality kittens are closer to the TICA breed standard in terms of body structure, coat pattern, and facial balance.
Pet quality kittens are just as healthy and affectionate — the differences are only cosmetic, such as softer markings or slightly different symmetry.
Both make equally wonderful family companions.
What should I prepare before the kitten goes to its new home?
We will provide a “Dreamii Care Package” that includes kitten nail clippers, a grooming comb, canned kitten food, transitional dry food, and some cat toys.
You will need to prepare your own cat litter, litter box, litter scoop, cat food, water dispenser, feeding bowls, and a cat tree or scratching post. For a broader “am I ready?” checklist (time, grooming, costs, and home safety), see our Ragdoll Kitten Readiness Guide for Ontario.
What is your daily care and socialization routine?
We check each kitten’s stool, eyes, and nose every day to ensure they are healthy. We then clean and disinfect their rooms, refresh their drinking water, and feed canned food (adding egg yolks, probiotics, lactoferrin, etc.). We also regularly groom and handle the kittens—brushing their fur and trimming their nails—so they become accustomed to human interaction and routine care.
Can I see the parents’ genetic testing results?
We will provide the parents’ detailed genetic test reports once you have selected a kitten.
Do you test your kittens for FIV and FeLV?
We do not routinely test each kitten for FIV/FeLV because kittens are born and raised in a closed, strictly indoor environment with controlled exposure. Our breeding cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, and we maintain a preventative health program. If a family has specific concerns or a veterinarian requests additional screening, we’re happy to discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
May I see a sample of the adoption contract?
Yes. We provide an Adoption Agreement Overview so families can review the main terms, expectations, and responsibilities in advance. This allows prospective adopters to understand our general policies before moving forward.
Many of the topics above are explored in greater depth within our Ragdoll Adoption Guide for Ontario.
