DreamiiDolls is a TICA, CFA and CCA-AFC registered Ragdoll cattery located in Barrie, Ontario, welcoming families from across Canada. In addition to Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta, we work with families in Quebec, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Atlantic Canada and other regions across the country. For families outside Ontario, we can help plan suitable pickup and travel arrangements for bringing their DreamiiDolls Ragdoll kitten home.
How Can Families Across Canada Receive Their Ragdoll Kitten?
Our preferred option is for families to travel to Ontario and personally pick up their kitten. We welcome families from anywhere in Canada to fly to Ontario, where we can arrange to meet you at the airport and personally place your kitten into your care.
Meeting in person gives new families the opportunity to meet their breeder, ask any last-minute questions, and share in the excitement of welcoming their kitten home. Your kitten and their new-home package will be handed directly to you before you begin your journey home together. For us, this personal handover is a special part of the adoption experience, and whenever possible, it is the option we recommend most.
We also completely understand that travelling to Ontario may not be practical for families living farther away. When available, we can assist with arranging a flight nanny to accompany your kitten in the aircraft cabin throughout the journey and personally deliver them to your local airport.
Feeding Your Kitten After Long-Distance Travel
Travel time can vary considerably depending on your location, airport wait times, flight duration and the journey home. Because air travel, unfamiliar surroundings and transitioning into a new home may cause temporary stress or anxiety, feeding recommendations may vary depending on the length and timing of your kitten’s journey.
To help make this adjustment as smooth as possible, new families will receive detailed feeding guidance through the DreamiiDolls Family Hub, including how to manage their kitten’s diet during the first one to two weeks after arrival and gradually transition back into their normal feeding routine.
Payment & Flight Nanny Arrangements for Canadian Families
Canadian families travelling to Ontario to personally pick up their kitten may pay the remaining balance by Interac e-Transfer at least 48 hours before pickup, or by cash when meeting us and receiving their kitten in person.
When a flight nanny is arranged, the kitten’s remaining balance and all flight nanny costs must be paid at least 48 hours before departure. Flight nanny fees vary depending on airfare, travel dates, availability and other travel-related factors, with the final cost confirmed once arrangements are made.
Once the flight nanny and travel date have been confirmed, the arrangement is generally considered final. If a change is requested afterward, any additional airfare, rebooking or other travel-related costs will be the responsibility of the buyer and must be paid before the kitten’s scheduled departure.
