About DreamiiDolls Ragdoll Cattery
DreamiiDolls is a home-based, ethical Ragdoll cattery located in Ontario, Canada.
We raise healthy, affectionate, and well-socialized purebred Ragdoll kittens in a clean and loving indoor home environment. All of our breeding cats are DNA-tested (HCM & PKD negative) and carefully selected to ensure excellent health, temperament, and true Ragdoll personality. Our kittens receive daily handling, early socialization, and thorough veterinary care before joining their new families. We proudly serve families across Ontario and throughout Canada with honesty, care, and lifelong support.
To help families better understand what responsible Ragdoll adoption involves—from breeder standards and health testing to pricing considerations and ethical placement—we’ve also created a comprehensive Ragdoll Adoption Guide in Ontario, which serves as our central reference for informed and responsible adoption decisions.
A Hard Lesson That Started It All
Our journey with cats started long before we became breeders. Years ago, when we first decided to bring a kitten into our lives, we knew very little about different breeds or what to look for. That’s when we found Imo, a tiny six-week-old Scottish Fold girl we saw online. We brought her home full of excitement, but very soon we faced a heartbreaking experience. Within the first week, she fell seriously ill, ended up in ICU, and we were overwhelmed with worry and costly medical bills.
Eventually, we discovered that despite being a registered kitten from a cattery — and not inexpensive — she had never been dewormed, never received vaccines, and clearly had not been properly cared for. As Imo grew older, more problems began to surface. Near her first birthday, we noticed her back legs showed abnormal bone growth. Her nasal passages were narrow, making it hard for her to breathe, and her eyes constantly teared up, leaving heavy tear stains on her face. Her tail was stiff and could not bend. Even her claws grew abnormally, curving too much, making it painful for her and difficult to trim. After many vet visits, we finally learned that she was suffering from severe genetic conditions — ones that would require her to be on lifelong medication just to ease her discomfort.

Falling in Love with the Ragdoll Breed
Over the years, we also lived with British Shorthairs and American Shorthairs, and cats have always been a part of our daily life. But everything changed when we discovered the Ragdoll breed. Their stunning beauty immediately captured our hearts, and when we learned that they are also one of the largest domestic cat breeds, we were even more fascinated. We’ve always loved big, fluffy cats, and it felt almost unreal that such breathtakingly beautiful cats could also be so large and cuddly, they truly were our dream cats.
Our first real-life encounter with a Ragdoll happened when we were still living in an apartment. Our next-door neighbor had a Ragdoll, and every time we crossed paths in the hallway, their cat would confidently walk straight into our home the moment the door opened. The first time we touched her fur, we were amazed by how incredibly soft it was, like cotton candy. For us, who had only known the texture of short-haired cats before, it was a completely new and wonderful feeling. Combined with her confident, friendly personality, we instantly fell in love.

Our Purpose as Ragdoll Breeders
From the day we brought home our first Ragdoll to now raising kittens of our own, our connection to the breed has grown naturally over time. Ragdolls have become part of our daily life, not just because of their gentle and affectionate nature, but because of how well they fit into a family environment.
Like many first-time cat owners, we went through moments of uncertainty and difficult lessons early on. Those experiences taught us how important trust, honesty, and clear expectations are when bringing a kitten home. They also shaped the way we approach breeding today.
As breeders, we focus on raising kittens that are healthy, emotionally steady, and well cared for, while maintaining open and straightforward communication with every family. Our goal is simple: to make bringing home a beautiful, gentle, and healthy Ragdoll a calm and transparent experience—so families can focus on connection and companionship, without having to navigate the uncertainties we once faced as first-time cat owners.
